Welcome to Machinima. Here you will be able to watch Machinima shows, find your favorite Machinima partners, and watch gameplay videos for the games you play. From the Start section you will discover new content, locate popular and new videos across the network as well as navigate to Search, Shows, Gameplay, Partners, Favorites, and Queue.
You are free to use Machinima without having to sign-in/register the application. However, if you want your experience to be customized you will need to register. Adding content to your queue, favoriting videos, and sharing videos are just a few features that will become available to you when you register.
The easiest way to register is to select the Login Button from the App Menu. It will launch the Internet Explorer browser where you will need to sign in to Facebook. Once you do that, you will get confirmation that you have registered the application.

By saying "Snap Machinima" the app becomes available in Snap mode. Think of it as a companion app when it's in this mode. One cool feature we offer in snap mode is when you're playing a game and you snap Machinima, we will automatically take you to gameplay videos for the game you are playing (if we have content for the game). This way you can locate walkthroughs if you get stuck or you can see how other gamers are playing the game.
This is where you go to search for what you want to watch. You can search for a shows, partners and gameplay content by simply entering text in the search box. As you enter text, you will see the result begin to populate underneath the search box. Results will be listed by Shows, Games, Partners, Episodes and Videos. If you select a tile from the Shows, Games or Partners area, it will take you to the details section where you can find out more about your selection. If you select a tile from the Episodes or Videos area, it will play the video.
In these sections, you can browse through all our shows, gameplay videos and partners. If you're logged in, some of the areas you'll see will be customized based on what you are doing in the app.
When you select a specific show, game or partner, you can do a variety of different things. In addition to browsing through collections and watching videos you can do the following:
When you select this, it will create an app channel for the show, game or partner on the OneGuide. If you wanted to go and watch Machinima content outside of the application, this is where you would go and do it.
When you Subscribe to a show game or partner, the collection is made available in your Queue. As new videos are added to the collection you selected, they will be readily available in your Queue.
This will play the latest video made available to the show or partner you have selected.
This will play the latest game trailer.
When you select this, the game, show or partner will be pinned in the Pins section in the Xbox Home.
This is where all the videos you favorited are located. You can favorite a video when you pull up the player controls when you're watching a video. When videos are added, you can manage your favorites from here.
Machinima's Queue feature is an easy way to keep up with your favorite Games, Shows and Partners. Look for a Game, Show, or Partner, and select the Subscribe button to add the collection to your Queue. When new videos are added the collection, they will appear here. You can remove collections from your Queue by selecting the Unsubscribe button.
