11. Character Unique Gauge
Certain characters have gauges for their own unique abilities.

Heat Gauge
This gauge is required to use Rapid Cancel, Distortion Drive, Astral Heat, and Counter Assault. It increases when your attacks make contact with the opponent and vice-versa.

Distortion Drive
Technical Type: Input specific commands

Stylish Type:
L and N simultaneously.
→ + L and simultaneously.
↓ + L and N simultaneously.
(The character you’re using determines the buttons to be used or the kind of attack it will release.)

Overdrive
Technical Type: A + B + C + D
Stylish Type: L + N + H + S
This move temporarily enhances each character’s unique ability, consuming your Overdrive gauge.

The Overdrive Icon (Overdrive gauge) is required for unleashing an Overdrive or Break Burst. When yellow it is available and when gray it is unavailable.

The Overdrive gauge will fill over time and when it’s full it will be ready for use.
The less HP there is, the longer it lasts and when it’s in use, the counter stops.
