Certain full episodes require you to sign in with your username and password from your TV provider. These items are indicated by a lock icon on the video thumbnail.

If you don't want to sign in, you can still watch the latest full episodes of great shows like The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report and @midnight. You can also watch select episodes of other shows and our original digital shorts. But other full episodes are only available with a TV subscription. In order to watch those, you'll need to sign in with the username and password from your TV provider. Once you do that, you'll have access to all full episodes on the app.

If you already have a username and password from your TV provider, you will not need to create a new accountno. Just use those credentials to sign in. If you forgot your account information or have not yet created an account, please contact your TV provider for assistance.

If your provider isn't currently listed, don’t worry. We are working hard to get all TV providers to participate.

Remember, the code is not case sensitive and is active for 24 hours. If the code isn't working or has expired, click "Regenerate Code" within the Comedy Central app to get a new activation code. If you still experience problems, please contact us at: help@cc.com

Once the Comedy Central app is installed, it will be available from the Games & Apps section of your Xbox One. If you just can't wait to start watching full episodes, you can pin the app to your Xbox One's home screen for faster access.


  • While you're using the Comedy Central app, you can press the Menu button on your controller to access the app menu options. Select "Pin Comedy Central to Home"

  • From Home, highlight the Comedy Central app, then press the Menu button on your controller. Select "Pin to Home"

Want your favorite show at your fingertips? Pin it to Xbox One Home.


To pin a show, go to that show's screen within the app and select "Pin it". You can also use voice controls to access this option.

To favorite a show, go to that show's screen within the app and select "Favorite It" You can also use voice controls to access this option. Once you've favorited a show, it can be accessed directly from the app's Favorites section.

The Privacy Settings section of the Comedy Central application provides options for you to clear all favorites and clear playback progress.


  • Select "Clear All Progress" to clear the playback progress of all previously watched videos within the Comedy Central app.

  • Select "Clear All Favorites" to delete all shows marked as favorites. This doesn't remove the shows from the app, it just removes them from the Favorites section. You can also remove individual shows from the Favorites section by going to that show's screen and selecting "Unfavorite."

While watching a video in full screen, you can use your Xbox One controller, voice or gesture to display the playback controls. Select the "Guide" button to get details about the video that's currently playing, see which videos are coming up next or browse and select a different video.
