1.2 Installing
1. Select Microsoft Store from the system menu of the Xbox.
2. Select ‘3on3 FreeStyle’ from the free games list from Microsoft store.
3. When you download ‘3on3 FreeStyle’ from Microsoft Store, it installs automatically. While the game is downloading and installing, it appears in the Queue section of My games & apps.
4. If the download and installation has not been completed for ‘3on3 FreeStyle’, please wait for the download and installation to finish.

2.1 Controller Layout
Neutral Controls Dash (+) : Use stamina to move faster. Move (): Move towards the L stick direction. Rebound(): Attempts rebound from the current position.
Offense Controls Dash (+) : Use stamina to move faster Move() : Dribble and move towards the L stick direction Shot () : Shoot or shot-fake from the current position Alley-oop Pass () : Alley-oop pass or call for an alley-oop pass Pass () : Pass or call for pass Drive(+) : Execute dribble moves Post up() : Post up or screen from the current position

2.2 Lobby Court
Player can practice various moves in Lobby Court.
Player can navigate to specific contents management page in the Main Menu from Lobby Court.
Player can practice movement and skill commands freely with a selected character in Lobby Court.
2.3 Main Menu
From the main menu, player can access Management, Shop, Event/Quest, and other contents.
Players can play 3on3 matches by selecting the ‘Go Street’ menu.
2.4 Game Match
Match mode can be selected by navigating to ‘Go Street’ menu from ‘Main Menu’
There are four different match modes within 3on3 FreeStyle. Each mode has the features as follows :
3on3 Mode : Two teams of 3 players, 6 players in total, play an online match against each other via Playstation Network platform.
1vs1 Mode : 1 player selects 2 of the owned characters as A.I to make a team and plays against another player’s team composed of him/herself and 2 A.I characters.
When match mode is selected, player moves to Team Lineup screen.
Players can make a team in the team lineup screen.
Team can be formed by inviting friends locally or online.
Once all the team members are ready, match is queued automatically.
In order to set balance between two teams, matching system examine various criteria such as player’s performance, character levels, and etc.
Once the match is over, result screen displays each player’s record in detail.
MVP of the match is also shown in the result screen.
Joey
Position : Small Forward / Age : 19
A careless nomad who digs for surf and basketball. Originally landed on South California for shiny sand beach and good waves, he finds himself in court majority of his time. He can be a push over and doesn’t really have an opinion
but when in court, he loves it fair and square. Very easy to be pleased as long as he does what he likes and have a good laugh with his mates.
Big Dog
Position : Center / Age : 29
Coming from a crime filled ghetto, he was dubbed Big Dog from a deep alleyway somewhere in Chicago. Struggling to save himself from his unlawful hood, he found basketball. Ever since, Big dog has been resorting to basketball to help
his homies come clean and more and more followed his suit. He may look frightening but once you get to know him, he is just a caring giant.
Kim
Position : Shooting Guard / Age : 21
2nd generation Korean American with her obvious Asian look, but she is a typical A town girl. Growing up enjoying whatever LA offers, glaring sun, beautiful sandy beach and trendy boutique shops, she has her unique charm that stands
out even in a court. She is an ever-optimistic cheerleader type, and seeks to boost her teammates’ morale whenever possible.
Cindy
Position : Point Guard / Age : 19
Raised in a quiet suburb of Westchester County, north of New York City, Cindy wants to see herself as a cold city girl and tries her best to look tough with her too-cool-for-school attitude. It takes guts to get to know her true self
as she doesn’t really open up. Cindy is a good kid though.
LuLu
Position : Power Forward / Age : 26
Lulu is down to earth, inviting character like you’ve all had imagined with her big smile. She doesn’t keep anything to herself and her overcharged persona easily takes over on and off court. Raised in a military family, she has never
settled in one place apart from Texas, which explains a hint of her southern accent, her love for greasy American food and extra-friendly demeanor.
Murdock
Position : Power Forward / Age : 27
Fresh out of London, England, Murdock is somewhat straightforward and obnoxious with his nonstop banter. If you thought of a nice and gentle English man, this mate is definitely an exception. He likes having ‘man dem’ around wherever
he goes and of course a pint of Guinness.
Carolina
Position : Shooting Guard / Age : 25
Tomboy growing up in Mexico with three older brothers. Carolina learned to be tough from feisty brothers and is not afraid to stand up on her own. Even with 12 years spent in America, she still speaks with heavy Hispanic accent. This
tough minded always lets her voice heard and doesn’t care how others think of her.
Luther
Position : Center / Age : 26
Luisiana born rapper and song writer with many other titles like social activist and trauma counselor, while his presence may be aggressive and grumpy. Luther is well-known on media for his dark view on Politics and Society. He was
a victim of Hurricane Katrina as a kid and the horrible experience permanently changed his outlook on the world. When he needs to blow off some steam, he does it in the basketball court, and heaven helps anyone who gets in his
way!
Amanda
Position : Small Forward / Age : 23
Coming from free minded Berkeley area near San Francisco, Amanda looks like she just popped out from 70s music video with her lavishing, perfectly made reggae braids. As a professionally trained dancer, she has done some work here
and there, but is still waiting for her big break. In the meantime, Amanda has found that there is no better way than being in a court.
William
Position : Small Foward / Age : 25
Name whatever, this fast talking guy can sell it. A true born salesman, William sells cars, appliances and electronics. This witty, talkative character grew up in luxury thanks to his family in lucrative film industry. But rather than
leeching off his parents, William is determined to make his own path to the world and earn his fortune.
Pedro
Position : Point Guard / Age : 23
As a line cook working in a fast food chain, Taqueria with his height well under six feet, Pedro doesn’t look like a rising streetball star. But his persona completely changes in basketball court. This guy normally stays cool, although
he does have a fit of anger with his job being in a fast phasing kitchen. Don’t you worry, though. His mood swing is as fast as the wind blows.
Fred
Position : Shooting Guard / Age : 24
Coming from a gangland, Detroit east side, ‘Fast’ Fred is happy to have recently relocated to the warm weather and excitement of the LA area. With a cheery outlook and a friendly smile, Fred is liked by nearly everyone, even by many
of his opponents. He does his side job as a DJ in a local club and it always packs with clubbers to listen to his mix, but he prefers to show his skills in a court.
Clarke
Position : Power Forward / Age : 19
If Clarke were in a movie, he would be a stereotype bully who picks up on small ones. He is a big, bulky, arrogant, intense and a classic muscle man. With almost no sense of humor, Clarke thinks basketball is his life as he wants to
shine not only on traditional courts, but on the street courts as well. He doesn’t attract many friends, though his teammates do appreciate his undeniable skills and dedication.
Lee
Position : Center / Age : 27
A gentle giant, Lee is a PhD student who uses streetball to escape from his crushing academic workload. Born in China and adopted by American parents when he was 5, Lee considers himself very fortunate and is proud to be an American
citizen. He is chill enough to have a laugh about how tall he is compared to ‘his people’. Lee can take it all in big strides, needless to say with his dominating presence as well.
Helena
Position : Point Guard / Age : 24
A skater girl with charm to spare, Helena always breaks assumptions others tend to make about her. It is not common to find a blonde white chick, small sized of her age 24 who is obsessed with playing basketball. If you think she is
the type who would all doll up and wait for you to open the door, you are wrong. Two of her brothers are in pro basketball league and she is more than half as good.
Professor
Position : Point Guard / Age : ?
Grayson THE PROFESSOR Boucher is the true icon and perhaps the most celebrated streetball player ever. Born in Keizer, Oregon, The Professor grew up in a household that supports basketball, which allowed him to spend 4-8 hours a day
to practice his skills. THE PROFESSOR has been defending his title as world’s best streetball players since 2003 and has toured the world playing with the Ball up all stars. The “Professor” gained his name from the legendary streetball
emcee Duke Tango for “Schooling” people on the court as the underdog.
Christa
Position : Center / Age : 32
Christa was a drill sergeant in the German military who had a passion for basketball. After being discharged from the army, Christa made her way to America. The first thing she did after arriving was heading to FOX Court. Just in time,
there was a job opening for security guard at FOX Court due to some collision between players on the court. Practically being made for the job, Christa took the job and decided to become not only a street baller but a security
guard on the Fox Court.
Jump Ball * Two opposing players do Jump ball to gain control of the ball at the start of the match and overtime
Traveling * You cannot dribble again after you have picked the ball up from dribbling.
Ball Clear * When the ball goes to competitors due to a failed offense attempt or turnover, the ball has to be cleared outside of the 3-point line.
Shot Clock * The team on offense has to attempt a shot within 24 seconds to avoid a turnover from shot-clock violation.
5.5 Time Out
* Each team has one chance to call a time out.
* At least 2 of your team has to accept to call a time out.
* During 15 minute long time out, players can substitute a different character that they own.
* Character substitution adds strategic element for the players to win as a team.
XP Drink
Characters growth can be done only by consuming items which are three kinds of XP drinks for leveling up.
Level-up Drink (S): Gain character exp points by 200 xp
Level-up Drink (M): Gain character exp points by 500 xp
Level-up Drink (L): Gain character exp points by 1000 xp

Once a character hits level 10, next prestige for the character can be unlocked.
Character prestige can reach rank 5 at its highest and higher prestige ranks require a different kind and amounts of Prestige Manual.

As the levels and prestige of the characters in 3on3 increases, each character can acquire inherent skills of their own.
As the prestige of the character increases, skills are unlocked according to the prestige rank.
Character skills can be upgraded by using the Skills Training item.
Each characters starts with 3 basic skills. As a character climbs up prestige rank to 2~5, character gains 1 skill per rank.
Skills are categorized into active and passive skills.
Active skills are used through command input as the players see fit, whereas passive skills are activated automatically when the conditions are met.
Unique Passive (characteristics) * Unique passives are categorized into character attributes types and skill types. * Unique passives are inherent to the characters and characters with prestige rank 1 start with one unique passive. * Characters with prestige rank 5 gain one additional unique passive.
Players can manage characters they own by navigating to the MANAGEMENT menu from the main menu screen.
Management menu has subcategories like Level up, Prestige, skills, Ability card, Attributes, Outfits, Celebration and Profile of characters.
Characters level and prestige can be upgraded from this menu. Also, character attributes can be boosted with Ability Card.
Level up * Characters’ level can be increased using the EXP items. * There are 10 levels in each rank. * Upgrade in prestige rank resets the character level to level 1 in the corresponding rank.
Prestige * Characters on the max level in the current prestige rank can upgrade to the next rank on Prestige page. * Prestige can be upgraded up to max rank of 5. * In order to upgrade prestige rank, resources such as [Position Manual] are required and the required amount/type of resources
changes as players go up the rank.
Skills Each character can have up to 7 skills and 2 unique passives. However, character skills and unique passives that are not gained due to insufficient character level or prestige rank are
not shown.
Ability card * Ability card consists of 5 ; normal, bronze, silver, gold and platinum. * When equipped with any cards, players can develop additional Attributes on top of the basic Attributes Character has. * Players can combine unwanted or unnecessary cards and draw out a whole new card. * Cards are not exchangeable between characters.
Attributes * Attributes are features that a character has and they can be increased by leveling up.
Outfits * All the outfits you have purchased can be found here.
Celebration * Players can purchase and choose moves that will be displayed when defeating competitors.
Profile Characters’ profile includes age, position and story.
4.1 Virtual Currency
The in-game currencies of 3on3 consist of two types: ‘FS Coin’ and ‘FS Points’
Players can earn the in-game money from matches, events, completing missions, etc.
Players can use the earned in-game money to purchase items or specific game contents.
FS Coin
* Players receive certain amount of FS Coins after a regular match as match rewards. * Players can use the earned FS Coins to purchase items required for leveling up or upgrading Prestige.
FS Point
* FS Points are in-game currency that can be purchased with cash. * FS Points is exchangeable with the other in-game currency, FS Coins, or be used to purchase specific items, such as some of the costumes, that are only available with FS Points. * FS Points can also be used to unlock new characters that are not owned by the player. * Other than being purchased using cash, FS Points can be acquired from events and other rewards.
4.2 Game Rewards
Match Win/Loss Rewards
* In 3on3, FS Coins are rewarded after a regular match. * Amount of rewarded FS Coins differs between winning/losing team. * Winning one match gives 220 FS Coins, and losing gives 180 FS Coins.
Other Rewards
* Rewards can be earned by completing character episodes, tutorials, event missions, achievements, and etc. * These rewards are provided in forms of items / FS Coins / FS Points / others.
5.1 Option Info
In the Options page, video / audio / pad (controller) / language / and more settings can be changed.
Video Option * In the video options page, game brightness and intensity of opponent color can be adjusted.
Audio Option * Any sound used in gameplay can be adjusted.
Vibration Option *In the VIBRATION page, the vibration of the dual-shock pads can be turned on/off.
Language Option * Language of the game can be changed. * Only supported languages are listed.
