With Redbox Instant by Verizon on your Xbox One you can enjoy every one of our streaming movies, as well as purchased and rented titles. You can even browse through your local Redbox kiosks and reserve the latest DVDs and Blu-ray discs – all from your console.

If you have an existing Redbox account, enter that email and password when signing up so you can use the same account for both Redbox and Redbox Instant by Verizon. If you’re creating a new account or checking out Redbox Instant by Verizon for the first time, you may be eligible to start a one-month free trial for our subscription movies package*.

The four monthly credits that come with your Redbox Instant by Verizon subscription can cover multiple rental days. If you rent a movie, select "Use Credits" at checkout, and keep it out for four rental days (that is, if you don't return it by 9 p.m. local time on the fourth day), you'll use up all of your monthly credits. You won't have to pay for any of the 4 rental days, however.
Credits are one of the unique features of Redbox Instant by Verizon. These credits let you rent movies on disc at any Redbox kiosk as a part of your monthly subscription. The math is simple: With the Streaming & DVD nights package you get four credits per month that can be used for DVD rentals at a Redbox kiosk. You can upgrade your credits to allow rental of any DVD or Blu-ray Disc for a small fee. (Sorry, but credits can't be used for video game rentals at the kiosk, nor can they be used for streaming movie rentals.
They also don't roll over from month to month.)
Each DVD credit will cover one rental day of any DVD, and each Blu-ray Disc credit will cover one rental day of any Blu-ray Disc or DVD. For example, that means two credits will cover the first rental day of two different discs, or they'll cover two rental days of one disc. When you use the Redbox Instant by Verizon app to reserve a disc, credits are automatically applied on the checkout page if you have them available. When you go to pick up your disc, make sure you arrive by 9 p.m. and that you bring the payment card that's mentioned in your confirmation email.
Swiping the card logs you into the kiosk and allows you to retrieve your reservation.
Sorry. You may not have enough credits for this transaction. If you would like you can use some of your credits and pay the difference with your payment card. Also, please keep in mind that if you're on a plan with DVD credits, those credits cannot be used toward the rental of Blu-ray Discs. Regardless of plan, credits cannot be used to rent games at the kiosk, nor can they be used for streaming movie rentals.

Find the app by selecting your Xbox Live account, pressing the Xbox button (the circular X button in the middle of your Xbox One Wireless Controller), navigating to the Home screen and then going to apps, and searching for the Redbox Instant by Verizon app (you can just search for Redbox Instant.)
To use Redbox Instant by Verizon on your Xbox One, you need:
--A high-speed Internet connection (wired or wireless.)
--An Xbox One Wireless Controller.
--A subscription to Xbox Live Gold.
--At least 130 MB of available storage on your Xbox One for the Redbox Instant by Verizon app.
You need an Internet connection and a computer to create an Xbox Live account. You don't need to connect your console to create an Xbox Live account. To begin your account creation, please visit www.xbox.com. From there you'll need to enter payment card information to create a Gold account, which is the account level needed to use Redbox Instant by Verizon on your Xbox One. The payment card is needed even if you'll be paying with subscription cards bought from stores. You won't be charged, but Microsoft still requires a card for validation purposes.
This issue can be resolved by deleting and reinstalling the Redbox Instant by Verizon app. To do this from the Home screen:
1. Select Settings.
2. Select System.
3. Select Storage.
4. Select All Devices (if present; otherwise select the first device listed. This will most likely be Memory Unit, USB storage, or Hard Drive.)
5. Select Games and Apps.
6. Select Redbox Instant, Redbox Instant Saved Game, Delete, and Yes.
7. Select Redbox Instant Xbox Game, Delete, and Yes.
8. Select Redbox Instant Title Update, Delete, and Yes.
If Redbox Instant by Verizon is still showing under Games and Apps, please repeat steps 4-6.
After completing the steps above please reinstall the Redbox Instant by Verizon app. Find the app by selecting your Xbox Live account, pressing the Xbox button (the circular X button in the middle of your Xbox One Wireless
Controller), navigating to the Home screen and then going to apps, and searching for the Redbox Instant by Verizon app (you can just search for Redbox Instant.)
