In “How To Survive Storm Warning Edition” you take control of Kenji, Jack, Abby, or Nina, each a survivor who has ended up on a group of islands infested with zombies. To survive and make an escape, you will have to explore the islands, gather resources, and make weapons you can use to hunt animals and fight against the hordes of zombies!
As you play you unlock special skills that will help your character evolve and allow you to survive longer and build more advanced weapons.
"How to Survive" is made up of 4 game modes:
"Story", "Challenge", "One Shot Escape" and "Barricade!"
In the "Story" mode, up to two players can play an offline,
story-driven adventure in which you meet other survivors
who you help to complete missions.
In the "Challenge" mode, up to two players can play offline or online
challenging and thematic missions. For each completed challenge,
players are given a score according to their performance,
allowing them to increase their ranking and title tag.
In "One Shot Escape", up to two players can play offline or online.
The goal is to roam the islands on a highly randomized scenario,
trying to find and repair an escape vehicle without dying (permadeath).
In "Barricade!", up to two players can play offline or online, too.
In this mode, players have to spend their days searching
for resources and materials to create barricades and traps to defend
the occupants of their camp from the hordes
of night flesh-hungry monsters, as long as possible…

and FATIGUE stay at healthy levels, or you will find yourself
in a weakened position!
Collect all the objects scattered over the islands:
Collect medicinal items that will help you maintain your health
and collect useful objects that can become handmade weapons.
Play through the story campaign with a friend either online or offline
In the Challenge Mode, up to two players can play offline or online playing challenging thematic missions. For each completed challenge, players are given a score according to their performance, allowing them to increase their ranking and title tag.
