About All 4

What is All 4?

Channel 4's online sites, live TV channels and 4oD service have evolved. The result is All 4, a slick new interface that offers the very best of 4 in one place.

All 4 features three sections to its homepage that will showcase the best of our content and help you navigate quickly to where you want to go.

On Demand: All the latest catch up. Free box sets of our most popular series. Plus a huge library of recent, classic and online only shows – including Shorts. Available on your All 4 app on your XBox as well as All4.com

Now: Live streaming of our TV channels. Plus premieres of new shows and returning series – available even before they're shown on TV! Available on All4.com and iOS devices.

On Soon: Breaking news about new and returning shows. Plus trailers, clips and exclusive extras from upcoming programmes and films. Available on All4.com and iOS devices.

What shows are available to watch on demand?

All 4 offers a wide selection of programmes recently broadcast on Channel 4, E4 and More4 , all freely available to watch on demand. We also offer a free and extensive library of both classic shows and more recent programmes, including complete box sets of some of our most popular series.

Why can't I find all US shows on All 4?

Channel 4 must acquire specific rights for some programmes, such as US shows, in order to show these on a particular All 4 service. Therefore it can't be guaranteed that all programmes will appear on all our devices.

What are the All 4 rules and guidelines?

To read the full version of our Terms of Use and Privacy & Cookies Policy, please visit the Help menu.

Do All 4 programmes include advertising?

Programmes on All 4 are streamed with advertising before, and sometimes during, the show.

Can I skip the adverts?

No, you can't skip adverts. 4's content is free to watch because we are an advertiser-funded broadcaster. As a government-owned, not-for-profit organisation, the revenue we make from advertising doesn't go to shareholders, it goes back into making more programmes.

Can I watch All 4 in another country?

Rights agreements mean that our All 4 service is only available in the UK. Even if you are a citizen of the UK you cannot access the service from abroad, except to watch previously downloaded shows (applicable to iOS and Android devices only). Some of our programmes are available in the Republic of Ireland, subject to rights.

Channel 4 and ATVOD

Getting Started

How do I find a programme to watch on All 4?

You can search for content by accessing the different menu options from the home page:

We Recommend presents viewing suggestions from our editors.

Catch Up enables you to search for content by broadcast date.

Categories enables you to search for content by genre.

Browse our free Box Sets of some of our favourite shows.

A-Z allows you to search for programmes alphabetically using the first letter of the show's title.

Search enables you to find programmes by typing in the name of the show. A minimum of two characters is required to start searching.

When you have found the show you are looking for you will be taken to an Overview page, which gives you specific details about the programme, including broadcast date, channel and synopses for all available episodes.

Is there a shortcut to get back to home?

Hitting 'X' on your remote control will take you back to the We Recommend homepage.

How can I find the programme I was watching earlier?

If the programme you were watching is no longer there, this could be because its All 4 rights have expired. If you were watching the video prior to leaving the application, you may get an alert message to indicate that the content is no longer available.

Parental Controls

How is content restricted to ensure children and young people are unable to access unsuitable content?

Our content may contain material that you consider indecent, objectionable or which may not be suitable for young audiences. If you permit a child to use your device to view All 4 content you are solely responsible for deciding whether or not such content is appropriate for that child to view.

Where relevant, parental guidance is provided (in the form of 'G' for guidance) and we ask that you pay attention to this if you are concerned in any way.

Some content is also assigned an age rating of either 16 or 18. If you wish to control access to such content you will need to set a Passkey using the Xbox One parental control tools Note, this functionality differs from the standard functionality of many of our All 4 services on other devices as it is controlled via the Xbox One Settings app, rather than from within the All 4 application.

Please visit the Parental Control section in the Help menu for further information.

Technical queries

How can I use Kinect for Xbox One to select programmes?

If you have an Xbox Kinect device, you use this to navigate around All 4. By using the Kinect, your hand gestures and voice commands will allow you to select different features in the app. Please note that the Search feature does not allow you to find programmes with voice commands.

I live in the UK but when I try to use All 4 it tells me that I am outside that area. Why is this and what can I do about it?

All 4 uses geo-blocking software to detect where your device is located when it connects to the internet. Occasionally you may be accessing from the UK but the software mistakenly thinks your location is outside this area, and so blocks your access to All 4. This is most likely caused by the way your Network Provider sets up and manages your account. We suggest you contact your Network Provider and explain the problem, which they should be able to resolve.

Can I use All 4 when I'm not connected to the internet?

You can only watch All 4 when you are connected to the internet, as it is a streaming service. However, on some devices you can download programmes to watch either offline or abroad.

Will my Network Provider charge me for using All 4?

Some Network Providers may charge you for the amount of data you use or impose limits which could impact the volume of All 4 content you can view on your device. You should check with your Network Provider if you are unsure about their charges or download limits.

ALL 4 PRIVACY & COOKIES POLICY

COOKIES POLICY

HOW CHANNEL 4 USES COOKIES

Whenever you use our websites, mobile sites, mobile applications or applications on any other devices such as YouView, PS3 or Xbox information may be collected through the use of cookies and similar technologies.

By using the digital products and services within All 4 you agree to our use of cookies as described in this Cookie Policy.

WHAT ARE 'COOKIES'?

Cookies are small text files which are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or application. Your web browser (such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome) then sends these cookies back to the website or application on each subsequent visit so that they can recognise you and remember things like personalised details or user preferences.

Cookies are very useful and do lots of different jobs which help to make your experience on websites as smooth as possible. For example, they let you move between web pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improving your experience (see below for more examples). They can also help to ensure that adverts you see online are more relevant to you and your interests.

They are referred to as session or persistent cookies, depending on how long they are used:

  • Session cookies only last for your online session and disappear from your computer or device when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies stay on your computer or device after the browser has been closed and last for the period of time specified in the cookie. These persistent cookies are activated each time you visit the site where the cookie was generated

WHICH COOKIES DOES CHANNEL 4 USE AND WHY?

When you use the digital products and services within All 4, the following 5 categories of cookies may be set on your device:

  1. 'Strictly necessary' cookies

These cookies are essential in helping you to move around our websites and use their features, such as accessing secure areas of the website. Without these cookies, services you have asked for, such as setting up PIN protection on All 4, cannot be provided. These cookies do not gather information about you that could be used for marketing or remembering where you've been on the internet.

Some examples of these essential cookies include:

    • Remembering previous actions (such as text you've entered in a registration form) when navigating back to a page in the same session.
    • Identifying you as being signed in to All 4 and our other websites and keeping you logged in throughout your visit so that you don't need to sign in each and every time you visit.
    • Remembering security settings, such as parental PIN control, which restrict access to certain content.
  2. Functional cookies

These cookies allow websites and applications to remember choices you make (such as your user name, language or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features. The information these cookies collect is usually anonymised which means we can't identify you personally. They do not gather any information about you that could be used for selling advertising or remembering where you've been on the internet, but do help with serving advertising.

We use these types of cookies to improve your experience of the digital products and services within All 4. Some examples of how we do this include:

    • Remembering your preferences and settings. This might include playlists, favourites or specific settings that you have chosen for the layout, text size and colours used on a website.
    • Remembering your place in a video if you leave any of the viewing services (the “On Demand”, “Now”, and “On Soon “ sections) before you've finished watching a programme, so that you can pick up where you left off the next time.
    • Remembering if we've already asked you if you want to fill in a survey or if you've completed a survey, so you're not asked to do it again.
    • Remembering if you've been to the site before so that messages intended for first-time users are not displayed to you.
    • Remembering when you've voted in a poll or rated a product or article so that you don't do this more than once during your visit.
    • Restricting the number of times you're shown a particular advertisement. This is sometimes called 'frequency capping'.
    • Working out when to show you advertisements on any of the viewing services so that you don't get shown too many.
    • Supporting social media components, like Facebook or Twitter (where a website uses a plugin from these third party platforms, for example).

If you would like a list of the functional cookies used by Channel 4 or have any further questions, you can use the form on our 'Contact Us' page which can be found here - www.channel4.com/4viewers/contact-us

  3. Analytics cookies

In order to keep the digital products and services within All 4 relevant, easy to use and up-to-date, we use web analytics services to help us understand how people use them. For example, we can see which parts of the digital products and services are most popular, identify which programmes have been watched online, identify when errors occur, and test different versions of a page or feature to see which one works best.

These web analytics services may be designed and operated by other companies on our behalf. They do this using small invisible images known as "web beacons" or "tracking pixels" that may be included in the digital products and services within All 4. These are used to count the number of times something has been seen. These web beacons are anonymous and do not contain or collect any information that identifies you.

The web analytics services may also use cookies and similar technologies to make the information collected by the web beacons more useful. When you are viewing a website, a cookie is transferred to your browser by the web server and is stored on your computer. It can only be read by the server that gave it to you. Similar technologies may operate in other digital products and services, such as our viewing services and Channel 4 News applications.

Cookies allow web analytics services to recognise your browser or device and, for example, identify whether you have visited All 4 before, what you have previously viewed or clicked on, and how you found us. The information is anonymous and only used for statistical purposes. It allows us to track information, such as how many individual users we have and how often they visit our websites. It also helps us to analyse patterns of user activity and to develop a better user experience. For example, we might see that many people who viewed Programme A also viewed Programme B and we can then recommend Programme B to everyone else who viewed Programme A.

Web analytics data and cookies cannot be used to identify you as they never contain personal information such as your name or email address. However, if you have registered and signed into All 4, we may combine information from your registration with the data we get from the web analytics service and its cookies (or similar technologies) to analyse how you and other people use our digital products and services in detail and, where you have opted in to receive such communications, to send you email and other communications that might be of interest to you. The combined information may include information that is collected by the web analytics services while you are not signed in, and information that was collected using cookies and similar technologies before you registered or signed in. Where the combined information can be used to identify you, we use it only in accordance with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy - http://www.channel4.com/4viewers/ts-and-cs and http://www.channel4.com/4viewers/privacy

Channel 4 are currently participating in a research project carried out by the Broadcasters' Audience Research Board (BARB) to gather anonymised statistics about the usage of desktop and mobile media players. The aim is to understand the number of users and the extent of use of these players. Several other major broadcasters (BBC, ITV, Channel 5 and Sky) are also participating in the project. BARB has chosen Kantar Media to collect this data through the use of cookies. All data is collected anonymously and will not be used for any other purpose but for the project. We provide an opt-out for all desktop, Android, and iOS devices in the link to "Kantar Media" below in the "Managing Analytics Cookies" section.

  4. Targeting cookies

We also use cookies to assist in targeted advertising in the following ways:

    • Cookies may be placed on your device by our third party service providers which remember that you have visited a website in order to provide you with targeted adverts which are more relevant to you and your interests. This is often called online behavioural advertising (OBA) (also known as 'behavioural targeting' or 'interest based advertising') and is done by grouping together shared interests based upon previous web browsing activity. Advertising may then be displayed to you when you visit the digital products and services within All 4 which matches these interests. Your previous web browsing activity can also be used to infer things about you, such as your demographics (age, gender etc.). This information may also be used to make the advertising more relevant to you.
    • Personalised retargeting is another form of OBA that enables our advertiser partners to show you adverts based on your online browsing away from Channel 4 websites. For example, if you visited the website of an online travel company you may start seeing adverts from the same travel company displaying special offers or showing you the products that you were browsing when you come to our websites. This allows companies to advertise to people who previously visited their website. These cookies will usually be dropped by third-party advertising networks. A list of our main advertising network partners is set out in section 5 below.

Although these cookies can track your visits around the web they don't know who you are. Even if you sign in to All 4, the OBA data is still not linked to your profile.

Without these cookies, online advertisements you encounter will be less relevant to you and your interests. If you would like more information about OBA, including how to opt-out of these cookies, please visit www.youronlinechoices.com (opens in a new window).

  5. Other third party cookies

Please note that on some pages of our websites you may notice that cookies have been set that are not related to Channel 4 or our authorised service providers. When you visit a page with content embedded from, for example, YouTube or Facebook, these service providers may set their own cookies on your web browser. These anonymous cookies may be set by that third party to track the success of their application or to customise their application to you. Channel 4 does not control the use of these cookies and cannot access them due to the way that cookies work, as cookies can only be accessed by the party who originally set them. You should check the third party websites for more information about these cookies.

Commenting on Channel 4's Digital Products and Services

Some of our websites allow you to leave comments about the digital products and services within All 4. One of the tools we use to enable comments on our websites is provided by a third party. In providing this service, they may set cookies on your web browser to track your use of their commenting tool on the digital products and services within All 4. To do this, they use third-party analytics tools to help measure traffic and usage trends for their commenting tool on an anonymised and aggregate basis. If you do not want your anonymised activity within this commenting tool being recorded by these analytics providers, you can opt out of their cookies by clicking on the following links. Please note that this will take you to the relevant third party's website and generate a 'no thanks' cookie, which will stop any further cookies being set by those third parties.

ALL 4 ON DEVCICES

In order to deliver a personalised, responsive service and to improve All 4 on devices we remember and store information about how you use it. The enhanced service may also include the delivery of more targeted and relevant advertising, subject to any personalisation preferences that you have set via the Account Settings section of My4. Channel 4 and its trusted partners only collect such information in a way that is completely anonymous and does not include any personal details.

All 4 on Apple iOS Devices, Android Devices and Xbox 360

When using these devices, local files will be stored for the following purposes: analytics, remembering resume points in videos you have watched and managing parental control PINs. For Xbox 360 devices, files are also stored to remember video resume points and any personalisation preferences (e.g. favourites, history etc.) across the Xbox 360 and Channel4.com platforms. This means that you will be able to resume a video that you started watching on Xbox 360 when you next log in to Channel4.com and that any preferences set on All 4 will be synched with your Xbox 360 device. Also, if users link their 4 registered account to their Apple device, this will be stored. These files are essential to the operation of the application. It is not currently possible to opt out or remove these files from the devices without deleting the application.

YouView, PS3, Samsung, Freesat, Roku, Now TV, Windows 8 (Phone, Tablet, PC), and Xbox One

When using these devices, files will be stored on the hard drive for the following purposes: analytics, remembering resume points in videos you have watched and managing parental control PINs. These files are essential to the operation of the application. It is not currently possible to opt out or remove these files from the devices without deleting the application.

HOW TO CONTROL YOUR COOKIES

Please remember that Channel 4 does not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information about you although, as explained above, we may combine information from your registration with the data we get from the web analytics services we use and their cookies (or similar technologies) to analyse how you and other people use the digital products and services within All 4 in detail. These cookies are set to improve your experience on our websites and to enable you to benefit from specific features and to set preferences.

However, there are various ways that you can control and manage your cookies which are discussed in a bit more detail below. Please remember that any settings you change will not just affect Channel 4 cookies. These changes will apply to all websites that you visit (unless you choose to block cookies from particular sites).

Managing cookies in your browser

Most modern browsers will allow you to:

  • See what cookies you've got and delete them on an individual basis.
  • Block third party cookies.
  • Block cookies from particular sites.
  • Block all cookies from being set.
  • Delete all cookies when you close your browser.

You should be aware that any preferences will be lost if you delete cookies. Ironically, this includes where you have opted out from cookies, as this requires an opt-out cookie to be set. Also, if you block cookies completely many websites will not work properly and some functionality on these websites will not work at all. We do not recommend turning cookies off when using the digital products and services within All 4 for these reasons.

If you are primarily concerned about third party cookies generated by advertisers, you can turn these off separately. This is discussed in more detail below.

The links below take you to the 'Help' sections for each of the major browsers so that you can find out more about how to manage your cookies.

Managing analytics cookies

It is possible to opt out of having your anonymised browsing activity within websites recorded by analytics cookies. Channel 4 uses the following analytics providers and you can opt out of their cookies by clicking on the following links. Please note that this will take you to the relevant third party's website and generate a 'no thanks' cookie, which will stop any further cookies being set by those third parties.

Don't forget that by not allowing analytics cookies, this stops us from being able to learn what people like or don't like about All 4 so that we can make them better.

The link currently works only for desktop and Android and iOS devices. Work to make the opt out possible on other devices is underway. When opting out on desktop devices, the data will be deleted as soon as it reaches Kantar's servers. For Android, no data will be collected from the device. If you use more than one browser or desktop device, you will need to opt out in each of these browsers/devices.

Managing advertising cookies

Please note that if you want to opt out from receiving targeted advertising, this does not mean that you will receive less advertising when you use the digital products and services within All 4. This just means that the advertising you see will not be as relevant or customised to you.

However, if you still want to opt out of these third party advertising cookies, you can do this by visiting the Interactive Advertising Bureau's website www.youronlinechoices.com/uk (opens in a new window) which lists all ad serving cookies that are currently set on your device and tells you how to opt-out from each of them. Please note that this website lists many more networks than those used at Channel 4. Also, Channel 4 ensures that all third party advertising networks and advertisers who set cookies on Channel 4 websites are signed up to this website.

We have also set out links below to some of the specific partners we work with who set cookies on our websites, and therefore on your computer, each of which have instructions on how to opt out of their cookies.

Please remember that if you choose to opt out of targeted advertising from a specific company or via www.youronlinechoices.com, it only applies to the web browser on the device you are using. You will therefore need to follow the same process on every device you use or different web browser that you use to exercise the same choice.

Managing flash cookies

The most common types of cookies are HTTP cookies. You can control these using the mechanisms described above. As well as HTTP cookies, there are other technologies which work in a similar way to cookies called Flash Local Stored Objects (LSOs). Some parts of the digital products and services within All 4 use LSOs and these can be controlled manually by visiting the Adobe website:

http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html

LSOs may be used to store user preferences for media player functionality and without them some video content may not play properly. We therefore do not recommend turning these cookies off when visiting Channel 4 websites.

ALL 4 PRIVACY POLICY

What is this privacy policy for?

Channel 4 is committed to protecting your personal information, being transparent about what data we hold and giving you control over how we use it.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to give you a clear explanation about how Channel 4 uses personal and behavioural information we collect from you when you use our websites and mobile sites such as channel4.com, mobile applications such as Channel 4 News or applications such as All 4 on any other devices (e.g. PS3 and Xbox) - collectively called our “Digital Products and Services”.

This is the main privacy policy for Channel 4's Digital Products and Services. However, some of our Digital Products and Services may have additional privacy policies so you should read these when you register or subscribe to these services. It is important for you to read this policy in full to understand what information we hold about you, how we may use it and how you can access, update and delete your personal information. However, if you don't have time to read the whole policy now, here are the main reasons we collect different types of information about our users:

  • To help us monitor and improve our digital products and services within All 4;
  • To provide you with a more personalised experience, such as making programme recommendations or telling you when a programme you might like is available to watch.
  • To send you details about the digital products and services within All 4, where you have signed up to receive such marketing communications.
  • To help sell online advertising space. Channel 4 is able to put this advertising revenue back into the free services we provide to you.

To be able to do these things, it's important we collect and analyse data including who our viewers are and how they use our Digital Products and Services.

Should I read any other information or terms?

Whenever you use our Digital Products and Services, information may be collected through the use of cookies so you should read our Cookies Policy (www.channel4.com/4viewers/cookies) for more information about this. You should also see our Viewer Promise, (www.channel4.com/4viewers/viewerpromise) which sets out Channel 4's general approach to data.

If you're interested in the legal stuff, we recommend visiting the Information Commissioner's Office website (www.ico.gov.uk). The ICO regulates data protection and e-privacy in the UK so there is lots of useful guidance about this on their website.

What are Channel 4's privacy principles and what is the Viewer Promise?

Channel 4's privacy principles in respect of how it collects, uses and manages your personal information are enshrined in our Viewer Promise. In summary these principles are as follows:

  • When we ask for data it's to give something back.

Registering with our Digital Products and Services gives you access to a growing number of benefits, such as access to all our programmes on All 4. Asking for your name means we know how to talk to you. Knowing your date of birth helps us give you better recommendations of Channel 4 programmes and also, together with your address and gender, helps us offer you more relevant advertising.

  • We are clear on what data we hold and what we do with it.

In collecting and using your personal information, we will be clear about what we are doing and make sure that you understand the way in which we are using it. Also, we won't sell your personal information to anyone but we may share your information with third parties as set out in this Privacy Policy.

  • You control the data we hold on you.

You can ask us to close your account at any time within the My Account pages on Channel4.com. We will delete your main account information (such as your name, email address, date of birth and postal address) securely and swiftly, and anonymise all the remaining information we hold about you, such as your activity on our Digital Products and Services.

Compliance with laws and your rights

There are various laws and regulations which apply to data protection and data privacy including the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and 2011 (as may be updated or amended from time to time).

Broadly, the laws require that:

  1. you agree to your data being collected and used;
  2. no more information than is required is asked of you;
  3. your personal information must be securely kept to prevent unauthorised access;
  4. you have a right to know what information an organisation holds about you;
  5. your personal information must be deleted when it is no longer required; and
  6. information about your internet use must be protected even where the information being collected is not personally identifiable.

At Channel 4, we make sure we stick to these data protection and e-privacy laws. As mentioned above, information about the laws, and your rights, can be found on the ICO's website - www.ico.gov.uk.

What information will Channel 4 collect about me?

Channel 4 may collect and hold the following information about you:

  • Information you provide to us such as when you complete a survey, or register or sign up to any of the digital products and services within All 4 (e.g. registering with All4.com to access the viewing services (the “On Demand”, “Now”, and “On Soon” sections) subscribing to newsletters and marketing emails or participating in Channel 4 communities).

On registration with All 4, we currently ask for your first and surname, your email address, date of birth, gender and a password.

We also ask you to provide us with some additional, voluntary information when you register – namely, your address. For some of our digital products and services, like Download, you will be asked to provide us with your address (if you haven't already done so) before you can access these services. Knowing a little more about you means that we are able to tailor the advertising we present to you. This helps us to generate more money from our online advertising, which goes back into creating great content and services (like Download, for example) for you to enjoy for free. If you do not want to receive tailored advertising on All 4, you can change your advertising preferences by visiting the "Account Settings" section of My4. See 'How can I manage my Advertising Preferences?' below for more information. However, you will still see the same number of adverts but they will be the ones that appear as standard and won't be as relevant to you.

Occasionally, we may also use your address to tell you about relevant Channel 4 events in your area that you might be interested in.

We may also ask you for other information from time to time, when you enter a competition, for example. This might include your full address and contact telephone number, for example, so that we can make sure a competition prize gets to you if you're a winner.

  • Information we collect using cookies or similar technologies stored on your device about how you use the digital products and services within All 4.

Cookies are very useful and do lots of different jobs that help to make your experience on websites as smooth as possible. For example, they let you move between web pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improve your user experience. They can also help to ensure that adverts you see online are more relevant to you and your interests. We provide much more information about how we use cookies and other similar technologies in our Cookies Policy (www.channel4.com/4viewers/cookies).

  • Information provided by other companies (such as advertisers you may have bought a product from or other reputable data sources) who have obtained your permission to share information about you.

If advertisers want to advertise to you, or people like you, using the digital products and services within All 4 they may provide us with information about you to help us target their advertising.

We may also obtain additional information about you from other reputable data sources. The data these companies might hold about you has been collected from publicly available records, such as the electoral roll, or via a range of sources with your permission (such as surveys or where you have agreed, via opt-in, for your information to be shared with third parties). We may check our registered viewer database against the information they hold on their systems to see if there are any matched individuals. If there is a match, we can collect and store some of this additional information (which may include statements about your lifestyle and interests) in our database and use it to further enhance our understanding of the types of products and services you might be interested in. If you do not want us to obtain this additional lifestyle information from these reputable data sources, as described above, you can change your matching preferences by visiting the 'Account Settings' section of My4. See 'How can I manage my Advertising Preferences?' below for more information.

  • Information from our web servers' logs, such as IP addresses.

This is used by us and other organisations with whom we work to analyse activity on All 4. For example, this helps us to look at the number of visits to specific pages to evaluate if we have sufficient infrastructure to support and maintain a great experience for our viewers.

  • Information from social networking sites (such as Facebook and Twitter).

We collect information from social media activity, including likes, shares and tweets on All 4, and about our content on social networking sites. Where you sign in to All4.com using social network credentials, such as a Facebook log-in, you grant permission to the social network to share your user details. Depending on the network this will include basic account information such as name, email address, date of birth and any other details you choose to share according to your Facebook account settings. We may from time to time, on different apps and services, request more than just basic account information from you. We will always be clear about this up front but you should also check what permissions we are asking for before you connect with these apps and services. If you remove the All 4 app from your social network settings, we will no longer be able to access this information.

How will we use this information?

Channel 4 will use the information we collect about you in the following ways:

  • To help us to monitor, analyse and improve All 4.

This information helps us to understand which All 4 content, products and services are most interesting, enjoyable and useful to our users, and if they are shared via social networks. The information also helps us to identify when errors occur within the digital products and services within All 4 and test different versions of a page or feature to see which one works best. All of which helps us improve our digital products and services for our users.

  • To allow you to take part in the interactive features of the digital products and services within All 4, such as games you can play along with while a show is live on TV.

  • To provide you with a more personalised experience. By looking at the information we have about you, we can create a more tailored experience. For example, we will do this by making programme recommendations or telling you about relevant Channel 4 events in your area.

  • • To inform the way we commission future content at Channel 4. We will use aggregated and anonymous user data to help our commissioning teams understand what type of content our users like so that they can make more of it in the future.

  • To sell advertising on All 4.

We may combine all the information we hold about you (including, for example, your registration data; information about the programmes, adverts and services you access on All 4; and information you provide when you take part in a Channel 4 survey) with information that we receive from third parties, such as advertisers and/or reputable data sources, to build up an idea of the types of products and services which might be of interest to you.

By understanding more about you, we are able to serve you more tailored, relevant advertising. For example, if we think that you are interested in health and beauty, you may find that we serve you with health and beauty product advertising from time to time. Advertisers want to make sure that their adverts are being seen by users who are more likely to be interested in their brand, product or service; so by serving relevant advertising, Channel 4 is able to generate more advertising revenue than it would do otherwise. As a not-for-profit organisation, Channel 4 will put this advertising revenue back into the free services we are able to provide to you.

Where we do not have any information about you, you will of course still see advertising across the digital products and services within All 4 but this will not be tailored to you.

Please note that we do not disclose personally identifiable information to our advertisers without your consent, but we may provide them with aggregate information about our users (for example, we may inform them that 500 men under 30 have viewed their advertisement on a given day).

  • To market services to you.

We will send you information about the digital products and services within All 4 or other marketing activities, but only where you have signed up to receive these from us. Similarly, sometimes, third party partners will want to send you information about products and services, but will only do so if you have agreed to receive them by ticking an opt-in box.

  • We will email you occasionally about the digital products and services within All 4 that you have signed up for (for example, to provide you with password reminders or to contact you about content you have submitted to us via our digital products and services) so that we are able to deliver these services to you. We may also invite you to participate in surveys from time to time to help us understand what you think about our programmes, products and services, and in turn make them better.

I am a user aged 16 or under

Please note that you need to be 16 or over to register with All 4. However, some of the digital products and services within All 4 (such as educational games and websites) may be specifically aimed at younger audiences. In these cases, if you are aged 16 or under, please speak to your parent/guardian to get their permission before you provide any personal information to Channel 4 because without this consent, you are not allowed to provide us with personal information. We may also ask for your parent/guardian's contact details so that we can check they are happy for you to use All 4.

Does Channel 4's privacy policy apply to third party websites or social networking sites?

This policy only applies to our use of your information via All 4. Therefore, it does not apply to third party websites to which Channel 4 might provide links or on which Channel 4 content is embedded.

Equally, it is important to note that when you access All 4 via a social networking site, such as Facebook or Twitter, that site may also collect and use your information. So, we would advise you to check the privacy policies for those social networking sites and applications to see how your information is being used.

How can I manage my Advertising Preferences?

If you do not want Channel 4 to match your information with data held by reputable data sources, as explained above, you can ask us not to by changing your matching preferences in the "Account Settings" section of My4. This means that Channel 4 will exclude your details from the data that is matched against information held by the relevant data source and, if relevant, will delete any lifestyle or other information previously obtained from data sources from our registered viewer database.

You can also choose not to receive tailored commercial advertising on All 4 by changing your personalisation preferences in the "Account Settings" section of My4. Please remember that you will still see the same number of adverts but they will be the ones that appear as standard and won't be as relevant to you. Due to the way that our systems are set up, it can take up to 48 hours for a change in personalisation preferences to take effect. Please note that you can't manage third party online behavioural advertising or information processed through the use of cookies by changing your personalisation preferences. For information about third party online behavioural advertising and cookies, see 'What about third party behavioural advertising' below.

What about third party behavioural advertising?

Channel 4 may use third party advertising networks and servers to provide some of the display advertisements which you see on All 4.

Cookies may be placed on your device by our third party service providers which remember that you have visited a website in order to provide you with targeted adverts which are more relevant to you and your interests. This is often called online behavioural advertising (OBA) (also known as 'behavioural targeting' or 'interest based advertising') and is done by grouping together shared interests based upon previous web browsing activity. Advertising may then be displayed to you from these third parties when you visit the digital products and services within All 4 which match these interests.

Personalised retargeting is another form of OBA that enables our advertiser partners to show you ads based on your online browsing away from Channel 4 websites. For example, if you visited the website of an online travel company you may start seeing adverts from the same travel company displaying special offers or showing you the products that you were browsing when you come to our websites. This allows companies to advertise to people who previously visited their website.

Although these cookies can track your visits around the web they don’t know who you are. Even if you sign in to All4.com, the OBA data is still not linked to your profile.

See more about third party cookies in our Cookies Policy - www.channel4.com/4viewers/cookies

How can I manage cookies?

We provide more information about cookies and similar technologies used on the digital products and services within All 4 in our Cookies Policy - www.channel4.com/4viewers/cookies. This also tells you how to control and manage cookies in your browser and how to opt-out of certain types of cookies.

What about spam?

We will not send you any unsolicited marketing. We will only send you emails or other marketing messages where you have signed up to receive these.

Marketing emails you have signed up to will also tell you how you can unsubscribe should you decide that you no longer wish to receive them.

Please note that registered users may receive important information about the digital products and services within All 4 (such as changes to the digital products and services themselves or other service administration matters). As a registered user, this is not spam.

How can I access and update my personal information?

You can update some of your personal information by signing in to All 4 using your email address and password and visiting your details page. We do not allow you to change your date of birth as this supports our Parental Control function.

Will Channel 4 share my information with anyone else?

Channel 4 commits to keeping your personal information confidential save that we:

  • use a range of data processing companies to help manage your information. However, we require these companies to comply strictly with our instructions and they are not allowed to use your information for their own business purposes (unless you have explicitly agreed to this). We also require these companies to have appropriate physical and technological security measures to protect your personal information.
  • may share your information with third parties where you have specifically agreed to this. We won’t, however, sell your data to any third party.
  • may disclose your personal information where we are required or permitted to do so by law or to protect or enforce our rights or the rights of any third party.
How long does Channel 4 keep my personal information?

We will keep your information only for as long as it is relevant and useful for the purpose for which it was originally collected.

If you close your account, your personal information (i.e. the information you gave us when you registered, such as your email address) will be deleted promptly, which means that all other information we might hold about you (such as how you have used the digital products and services within All 4) will be anonymised and we won’t be able to recognise that data as yours or contact you about it. Please note if you don’t want to continue to receive relevant targeted advertising on the digital products and services within All 4 after you have closed your account, we recommend that you also delete any cookies set on your device. If you want more information on how to manage your cookies, our Cookies Policy can help – www.channel4.com/4viewers/cookies

Where we hold other information (resulting from, for example, submitted competition answers) we will keep this for the minimum amount of time necessary for the purposes of running the competition or other relevant purpose.

Please note that if your account appears to have not been used for 2 years, we may try and contact you to check whether it is still in use and/or we may delete it.

Security Measures

Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Unfortunately, the sending of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our utmost to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of your data sent to the digital products and services within All 4; any sending of information is therefore at your own risk.

How do I contact Channel 4 if have a question about privacy issues?

If you have any questions or concerns about privacy issues, you can use the form on our 'Contact us' page which can be found here – www.channel4.com/4viewers/contact-us

Access to your information

If you would like to know what personal information Channel 4 holds about you, you may make a request to Channel 4 for copies of this information. You should be aware that we will need to see proof of identity before processing any such request (known as a ‘subject access request’) and may charge an administration fee of up to £10 to cover our costs in providing you with this information.

All subject access requests should be made in writing and addressed to Channel 4 Enquiries, PO Box 1058, Belfast, BT1 9DU. Alternatively, you can use the form on our 'Contact us' page which can be found here – www.channel4.com/4viewers/contact-us

Changes to this policy

Our privacy policy may change from time to time. Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page, and, where appropriate, notified to you by email.

Terms Of Use

You may find it easier to read these documents on your computer. Please go to: channel4.com/4viewers/our-policies

Welcome to All 4, the home of Channel 4’s digital products and services. These Terms of Use, effective from 15 May 2012, apply whether you are a registered user or just a visitor to All 4. We explain what our digital products and services cover under the section headed "What do these Channel 4 Terms of Use cover?" By accessing or using All 4, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

Who makes All 4 available to me?

All 4 is made available to you by Channel Four Television Corporation which is a statutory corporation established under the Broadcasting Act 1990. Our postal address is 124 Horseferry Road, London SW1P 2TX.

Why is it important to read these Terms of Use?

Our Terms of Use are important because they confirm both our legal commitment to you and a number of legal DOs and DONTs which you need to be aware of when you use any of the digital products and services within All 4. Our commitment to you is supplemented by our Viewer Promise and our Privacy Policy. In return, we would ask you to act in a legally responsible and respectful manner in accordance with these Terms of Use.

Should I read any other information or terms?

Please also read our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Community Guidelines and Competition Terms. Each of these policies forms part of these Terms of Use.

Additional terms may also apply to some of our digital products and services within All 4 and these will be made clear to you at the relevant page or point of access.

We also offer some helpful responses to frequently asked questions and the opportunity to contact us on our 4Viewers page.

What do these Channel 4 Terms of Use cover?

These Terms of Use apply to your use of most of the digital products and services within All 4. We do not provide a complete list of the digital products and services within All 4 but by way of example, they include our websites (Channel4.com, E4.com, Film4.com and other websites operated by us), the viewing services (the "On Demand", "Now" and "On Soon"), Channel 4-operated Applications and our Content available through third party websites (including social networking sites). Please note that there are some exceptional Channel 4 digital services which are subject to different terms of use and where this is the case, you will be directed to these. For example, Film4 On Demand is subject to separate terms of use.

When we refer to our Content, we mean any audio, video, text, images, trade marks, logos or other content made available to you by us and may sometimes include content which is owned or controlled by third parties which we are permitted to make available to you.

We will normally provide a link from the relevant digital products or services to this document so that you know that these Terms of Use apply.

These Terms of Use apply regardless of the sort of device you are using to access All 4. Therefore, they will apply whether you are using a computer, laptop, mobile phone, smart phone, tablet, games console or any other device.

Is Channel 4 Content suitable for everyone and what parental control tools are available to me?

Our Content may contain material that you consider indecent, objectionable or which may not be suitable for young audiences. If you permit a child to use your device to view our Content (including watching Content via the viewing sections of All 4), you are solely responsible for deciding whether or not such Content is appropriate for that child to view. Where relevant, parental guidance is provided (in the form of 'G' for guidance) with additional warnings at the beginning of our video content and other guidance on non-video content (where applicable) and we would ask that you pay attention to this if you are concerned in any way.

We also offer a parental control tool on All 4 (by way of a 4 digit PIN). If you have enabled the 4-digit PIN, your device will not be able to play either 16 or 18 rated content (depending on the setting you choose) unless you type in the PIN. Please click here to find out more about our Parental Controls tool.

Why does Channel 4 ask me to register?

By becoming a registered user, you will be able to access some parts of All 4 which are not available to other visitors. You will also be provided with a more personalised experience and the ability to participate in conversations or other forms of interaction taking place across All 4. More information about the benefits of registration is available in our Viewer Promise.

Please note that you need to be 16 or over to become a registered user.

What do I agree to by accessing and using the digital products and services available within All 4?

By becoming a registered user of All 4 you agree that you will:

  • provide a valid email address;
  • not let anyone else use your account;
  • keep your login details, including your password and PIN (if applicable) secret;
  • only set up one account per person;
  • set up your account in your own name, and use an appropriate display name. You must not seek to pass yourself off as someone else or pick a display name which is offensive, defamatory or otherwise likely to be deemed by us to be unacceptable;
  • tell the truth about your age. If, for example, we don't believe that you are 16 or older, we may ask you to prove your age at any time; and
  • notify us if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are breaching any of these requirements or any of the other Terms of Use. Our decision to suspend or terminate your account will be based entirely on our own best judgement.

Whether or not you are a registered user, when using All 4, you must always act honestly and appropriately. Unacceptable behaviour includes being abusive, offensive, defamatory, infringing anyone's privacy, trolling, harassing or doing anything which would upset or be disrespectful to any other person.

What do I need to know about my registered details?

You will be able to access your registered details with your email address and password.

You will be able to keep your information up to date by logging in and updating your profile.

If you want to terminate your account, you can do so by clicking on ‘Close Account’. This will wipe the personal information you gave us from our systems, which means that all other information we might hold about you (such as how you have used All 4) will be anonymised and we won’t be able to recognise that data as yours or contact you about it. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.

Can I copy stuff from All 4?

Apart from adverts and user content, all of the Content on All 4 belongs to us and/or our production company, digital or studio partners.

Whilst we have no objection to you printing out extracts or a page of text from All 4 for your own personal use, you must not copy or reproduce or otherwise publish large sections of our Content or, for example, an entire website. Furthermore, you are not permitted to embed, upload or make any of the digital products and services within All 4 available via any third party platform, website or service without our prior consent.

You are not permitted to use any part of All4 for commercial purposes. For example, you must not copy and reproduce our Content for use on your own advertiser funded website or attempt to commercialise or attempt to sell access to our Content in any way. Your use of any of our digital products and services, such as the Channel 4-operated "All4 Application" is for your own personal use and access is limited to your chosen device.

It is really important that our Channel 4 brand is fully protected from misuse. Our trade marks and logos are designed to let people know that the service they are getting is provided by Channel 4. Therefore, you must not copy, reproduce or otherwise publish any of our trade marks or logos.

Making our programmes available on unauthorised websites or software applications is against the law. There are particular laws in force about sharing content without permission on P2P networks and it is important that you do not do this.

Please consider that even though our Content is available to you for free, we are able to generate revenue by selling advertising space in and around it. Any person watching one of our programmes on an unauthorised website, platform or service represents lost advertising revenue to Channel 4 which we need in order to fund All 4 and to make our programmes available to you, which we do, for free.

Our Content may be streamed or downloaded depending on which digital products and services you are using. Please see the section headed "How can I download Content?" for more information on downloading. We may use content security technology or use other content protection measures. You agree that you will not circumvent, try to adjust or otherwise interfere with our security technology for any reason.

Educational establishments which have taken out a licence with the Educational Recordings Agency ("ERA") can access recordings of our content under the terms of that ERA licence.

Is Channel 4 responsible for third party websites when it provides a link to these?

Sometimes we provide links to websites and resources operated by third parties. We are not responsible or liable for anything that happens to you when you visit these third party websites and resources. These third party websites may have their own terms of use so you will need to be aware of these. Furthermore, unless stated otherwise, Channel 4 does not endorse any third party website to which it provides a link.

Sometimes, third party websites provide links to our Content. This does not mean that we have any relationship with that website and you should be careful about assuming Channel 4's association or affiliation to anyone else, especially where the existence of that relationship has not been confirmed by us.

Are these Terms of Use still applicable when I connect to All 4 from a social networking service?

When you connect to All 4 from a social networking service, these Terms of Use will still apply although you need to be aware that the social networking service’s own terms of use (and privacy and cookie policies) may also apply.

How can I download Content?

Content can be downloaded depending on which device or website you are using to access All 4. To be able to download our Content, you must:

  • be a registered user and logged in to your account at the time of download; and
  • have provided your address (if you haven't already done so when signing up as a registered user). See our Privacy Policy for more details on how we use your information.

Content is available to download for a minimum of 30 days. Once downloaded to your device, you will have up to a maximum of 7 days to watch that Content. After the relevant period of time for watching the Content has expired, the Content will be automatically deleted from your device. If the Content is still available to download , you can download it again. Due to our agreements with our production company, digital or studio partners, please note that not all of our Content will be available for you to download.

Do I need to pay Channel 4 to watch programmes?

Unless specifically indicated, there is no charge to watch our video content. However, you may need to meet your internet service provider's charges in order to have access to the required amount of bandwidth.

You do need to be covered by a valid TV Licence if you watch any TV channel on any device at the same time as it is being broadcast on TV. This includes watching live TV on devices such as a computer, laptop, mobile phone, smart phone or tablet. Further information about this is available on the TV Licensing website – www.tvlicensing.co.uk. Accordingly, you will need to be covered by a valid TV Licence if you use our ”Now” viewing service to watch our channels online when they are live simulcasts of broadcast channels (but not for watching on demand programmes on All 4).

What are the rules I need to know about user content?

We provide users and viewers with an opportunity to participate in shared activity such as contributing to our programmes (e.g via calls to action on our shows) and online projects via online comments, blogs, social media channels, email and other interactive activity.

Your participation in and contribution to any such shared activity is subject to your compliance with our Community Guidelines (http://www.channel4.com/community).

You will own your user content and may continue to use it, but by posting or submitting this content to us, you allow us (and our third party partners) irrevocably to use your content in any media (including on television and online) throughout the world at any time without further liability to you.

Where we do use your user content, we also have the right to change or edit this. We might also show your name (and if available your photograph) with your contribution. If you would rather that we did not use your user content, we would kindly ask that you do not post or otherwise submit any user content to us.

I would like to post links to Channel 4 content on my website, or other social network account like Facebook or Twitter. Is this ok?

Some clips available on All 4 feature an embed code which allows you to display that clip on your website or social networking page ("embeddable content").

When using our embeddable content you must not:

  • copy, re-publish, edit, alter, add to or use the embeddable content, embed code or embeddable player in any other way;
  • charge users for access to the embeddable content, or use the embeddable content as a means to secure advertising or other revenue in any other way;
  • directly or indirectly suggest any endorsement or approval by us of your website or page or any non-Channel 4 entity, product or content or any views expressed;
  • use the embeddable content in any way that could bring Channel 4 into disrepute or otherwise cause any loss or damage to Channel 4; and/or
  • use the embeddable content on any websites or pages that:
    • contain pornography or sexually explicit content;
    • contain offensive text or images;
    • are hate sites (on grounds of race, religion, gender, disability, age or sexual orientation);
    • contain gratuitous violence; and/or
    • condone or encourage unlawful acts.

What technical stuff do I need to know about?

We will try to ensure All 4 is available to you at all times. However, we do not provide any guarantees about its availability or that we will be able to resolve quickly any technical problems that arise.

Whilst we seek to make All 4 available as widely as possible, some features and functionality may not work on all devices.

Please note that matters relating to the internet generally, such as broadband availability, connections and speed and other matters outside of our control may affect the quality and availability of All 4, its features and functionality and your ability to participate in some Channel 4 activities. We take no responsibility for these sorts of matters.

To watch our video content on your computer or other device will need to meet the minimum operating requirements.

If you have any problems watching or viewing our Content, please go to our video Help and FAQ page for further guidance.

Whilst we will take reasonable steps to ensure that our Content is virus free, we cannot guarantee this. Accordingly, you must take your own precautions in this regard (such as using anti-virus software). We accept no responsibility for any infection by virus or any other contamination or by anything which might have a destructive property.

What do I need to know about applying online to be on Channel 4 programmes?

Sometimes, we facilitate the opportunity to appear on our programmes via an online portal and application form. We usually operate this on behalf of our production company partners who make our programmes for us. In these cases, the completed application forms will be sent to the relevant production company who will be responsible for processing your application.

Typically you will need to be 18+ in order to apply to appear on one of our programmes, but our production company partners will make this clear to you on the application form.

Any other specific issues relating to eligibility will also be set out in the application form.

Please note that submitting an application does not give you any legal rights or impose any sort of obligation on Channel 4 or its production company partners. Any decisions regarding successful applications will be made in our, or our production company partner's, sole discretion.

What terms apply to Channel 4 online competitions?

The terms relating to our online competitions are available here.

There may be additional or different terms which relate to a specific competition being run by us, and where this is the case, we will make that clear to you.

What if I have a complaint?

Changes to these Terms of Use

Please note that we may change these Terms of Use from time to time at our sole discretion. Any revised Terms of Use will be applicable from the date these are published. You should review these Terms of Use regularly to check whether they have been changed or updated.

What other legal stuff do I need to know about?

To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept any responsibility for anything contained within our Digital Products and Services. To be clear, neither Channel 4 nor its subsidiary companies accept any liability (whether based in contract, tort or other action) for any loss caused by your use of and reliance on our Digital Products and Services whether this is caused by Channel 4 or any third party. This exclusion of liability does not affect your statutory rights (please see www.consumerdirect.gov.uk for further details).

Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes Channel 4's or your liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

Any commentary, opinions or other material on All 4 are not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely.

If Channel 4 decides not to exercise or enforce any right that it has against you at a particular time, then this does not prevent Channel 4 from later deciding to exercise or enforce that right.

If any part of these Terms of Use is found to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by a court or regulator, then, where required, that part shall be deleted and the remaining parts of the Terms of Use will continue to be enforceable.

These Terms of Use do not create or infer any rights that are enforceable by any person who is not party to them.

What are guidance warnings and how do these work?

Guidance warnings alert the user to content that may be considered indecent, objectionable, or unsuitable for younger audiences or may be harmful to view (e.g. flashing images).

A guidance warning is shown in the programme detail page and prior to playback, where the user is shown the warning in full and can choose to accept and continue to playback, or go back to the previous screen.

If the content also has an age rating assigned, then a further Xbox One PIN challenge may apply provided this has been set this in the currently logged in user's Xbox One Settings (see below).

How can I restrict access to age rated programmes on my Xbox One?

Microsoft's Xbox One PIN solution will be used to control access to content not suitable for younger audiences. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure the parental control tools are set to the right levels.

The PIN challenge will only be shown if content is assigned an age rating of either 16 or 18 and if the current user logged into the app at the time of playback has set the PIN challenge correctly.

PIN settings are defined at a user level and must be set individually on the device via the Xbox Settings app. The user must be logged in to their profile to apply any changes. The PIN challenge will only work if the following two functions are set:

  • Specify a 6-digit ‘Passkey', i.e. PIN, from the “Sign-in, security and passkey' section
  • Specify the desired content restriction age setting from the ‘Privacy, online safety' section

Channel 4 content has three age ratings – 0, 16 and 18 and is set at the Episode level. Content with 0 ratings set will not trigger any Passkey challenge. The Xbox One Passkey challenge applies to any age above the one set in the user's content restrictions settings:

  • 'Appropriate up to age 15' = 16+ rated content Passkey challenge
  • ‘Appropriate up to age 17' = 18+ rated content Passkey challenge
  • ‘Appropriate up to age 18' = 19+ so no Passkey challenge
  • Unrestricted = no Passkey challenge

The Passkey challenge screen is provided by Xbox One. It is shown after the Guidance Overlay screen, if applicable (although typically if content carries a 16/18+ rating it also has guidance text associated).

It will not be possible to play content until the user has entered the correct Xbox One passkey.

Do my Xbox One parental control settings roam with my profile?

Xbox One parental controls roam with the individual. Therefore once you have specified your settings on one device, the next device you log on will have the same functionality assigned. You can change these at any time from the Xbox One Settings app.

How can I delete or reset my Passkey on Xbox One?

In order to delete or reset the Passkey, the user needs to revert back to Microsoft's Xbox One settings.

How can I prevent other users from modifying my parental control settings on Xbox One?

In order to avoid other users modifying your parental control settings you may wish to select the option to ‘Sign in with your password' from the “Sign in, security & passkey” function in Xbox Settings. This means that each time you sign in, you will need to enter your Xbox Live ID password. Otherwise, you can tick the ‘Sign-in requires passkey' from the same Settings section, so that each time that you sign in to the application you must enter your 6-digit passkey. In both these cases you should sign out of the application when you are not using it to prevent unauthorised access.

What happens if more than one user is signed in to Xbox One when navigating the All 4 app?

If more than one user is logged on to the Xbox One console, then it is the user whose restrictions are exceeded that will need to get approval.

Why is some content hidden by grey padlock icons?

You may have set your Xbox One profile to hide content. To remove this go to your Xbox One Settings > Privacy and Online Safety > Content Restrictions and un-select the checkbox to "Hide listings in search, stores, & apps".
