I can’t rent or buy movies on VUDU.

I am having buffering issues when watching movies on VUDU.

VUDU uses your internet connection to stream your content. If your ISP or home connection is prone to fluctuations your movies may have buffering issues.
How fast is your internet connection?
- Higher movie resolution requires more bandwidth. If you try to watch a 1080p HDX title on a 4 Mbps internet connection, you will experience frequent buffering because the connection is not sufficient to support 1080 streaming. Please see the minimum bandwidth requirements listed above.
- If you are not sure what speed your internet connection is, you can use a free speed test service, like www.speedtest.net. When you're testing your connection speed you'll need to make sure that you’re testing the same type of connection you use to watch VUDU. For example, if you are using a wireless connection to your TV in the living room, test the speed of your internet using a laptop connected wirelessly in the living room.
- Once you have determined your speed, use the table above to select the correct format to watch.
Is your TV or Xbox One connected to the internet?
- If you are connected via a wireless network, try moving the wireless router closer to your TV or Xbox One, or using a wired connection if possible.
