Pix the Cat is stranded in the infamous Grid of Infinity! Guide him through the nested mazes to rescue as many Ducklings as possible before time runs out. Score massive points in the Arcade Grids to unlock the other game modes and unravel Pix the Cat’s many surprises!
In the Nostalgia Mode, you must collect a given number of Eggs within a given Time. If you succeed in collecting the eggs before the Goat chomps the Flower, you will be granted the Bonus Flower. If you succeed in collecting the eggs but over the time limit, you will win the level without the bonus.

This game mode, which unlocks as your score progresses in the Arcade Grids, features 70 levels that propose different situations you must face.

You will not drop your ducklings off in this game mode so be careful to not trap yourself with your ever growing tail. Ingame characters and objects are scattered throughout this mode and offer various gameplay opportunities that we will leave for you to discover.
In the Laboratory Mode, you must collect ALL the Cells before dropping them ALL off under a given number of moves (Par). If you succeed in dropping the last cell under the given par, you will be awarded the BONUS STAMP. If you succeed in dropping the last cell over the given par, you will win the level but will not be awarded the Bonus.

This game mode, which unlocks as your score progresses in the Arcade Grids, features 100 levels that propose different puzzles you must solve. In the Laboratory, Pix moves differently than in the other game modes; once you have given a direction that Pix follows, he will continue to Slide in that direction until stopped by a wall or an interactor. You may not change directions while Pix is moving.

Pix does not crash against walls or his own tail. You lose if you deposit a Cell before having collected them ALL.

Rules : Pick up eggs that stack up behind you in a tail. Drop them off on the targets. Go deeper, into the next level.

Collect ALL eggs before dropping them off to get the Perfect Bonus Points.
Do not crash into walls, mines, enemies or get stuck in your own tail.
Every mistake you make will make your speed go down.
As long as you perform flawlessly, your Speed and Combo Multiplier increase.
Take perfect turns against walls to be granted Speed Boosts.
In fever time, you can destroy the Skulls to get Bonus Points.

The Starter grid is the introduction grid in which you will learn and train on the basics. The timer is set to 3 minutes and the levels are always the same.

The Main grid is the heart of the game. The timer is set to 5 minutes. Each game will propose slightly different levels for you to feel at home and be surprised nonetheless.

The Dessert grid is the hardest of all grids. The timer is set to 5 minutes. There is no random here because even by knowing levels by heart, you will still struggle your thumbs away.

The Daily grid is different every day. The timer is set to 5 minutes and the levels will vary greatly from one day to another. You have one day to perform before the new grid is generated.
The game records your best run for each of the Grids. You may choose in the Arcade selection screen to display your Best Ghost and play “against” it.
You can also challenge the Developers Ghosts, your Friends Ghosts, and the Scoreboard Sensei’s Ghosts.
The Sensei is the Player right above YOU in the leaderboard. Improve your score to challenge increasingly challenging Sensei Ghosts and learn from them.
Each of the Grids is home to three Ranking Leaderboards: Local, Friends and the World.

The Daily Grid’s Leaderboards are reset every day.
The Arena mode is a local multiplayer in which up to 4 players can battle to be the last one standing.
The first player to win three rounds will be declared winner of the match.

In this mode, the colored eggs you collect will hatch into white, green and blue ducklings.
They will serve as ammunition that you can use by pressing .

You can press , to shoot the first duck in your tail, directly behind Pix.

- Purple eggs are Rockets, a lethal shot that will turn in rounded corners.
- Green eggs are Mines, a deadly explosive that will blow up everything next to it. Stepping on it, shooting it or letting the fuse run out will all result in a massive explosion.
- White eggs are Paralytic balls of energy that will immobilize the enemyfor some time.

The next duck in the tail will then move up and will be ready to be used after Pix has had time to reload.

Pressing and holding the will cause Pix to start charging up a dash. Upon being fully charged, Pix will gain a very noticeable speed boost and will demolish any live opponent he comes in contact with.
During the charge, Pix will consume the ducks in his tail regardless of color, until either you release or he runs out of ducks.
However Pix needs time to charge up and during this time he is just as vulnerable as ever.

Certain arenas feature warpswhich lead to the next floor.
Should all the cats go down into the same level, the warps will close and the action will continue,closing the previous level and opening up the next one.

When playing with more than two players, cats who have been destroyed keep on playing as ghosts.
Ghosts are slow but will break duck tails and detonate mines on contact, as well as reflect projectiles.
Should a ghost manage to catch up with a living Pix, the roles will reverse, one cat turning into a ghost as the other comes back to life.

As the match finishes, each player his awarded 3 medals based on his performance during the game, alongside his number of deaths, kills, suicides and comebacks.
Players can also choose to study the statistics of all their consecutive games put together in the session tab, allowing them to view their overall performance.
