Missions

Successfully complete missions to receive Food Items, Jewels, and Experience. The type of Food Items, number of Jewels, and amount of Experience you receive are based on your rank, experience, and mission score. Different missions offer different types of Food Items. Try to take on all available missions to receive a variety of Food for your dragon.

Story Missions

Play missions to make your way through the harsh world of Draco and unlock the mystery of the White Phantom. To play story missions, select Missions from the Main Menu, and then select the mission you want to play.

Dragon Roost

Select Dragon Roost from the Main Menu to teach your dragon new skills, upgrade abilities, manage your wingman deployment, and more!

Select Dragon

Go to Select Dragon to choose a different dragon to ride. New dragons can be purchased in the Shop with Credits or Jewels.

Select Skills

Go to Select Skills from the Dragon Roost menu to change your dragon's offensive load-out. To change your dragon's skill, select a skill from the options available, then press to confirm.

Hire Wingman

Go to Hire Wingman to add a new partner to your selection of wingmen. Some wingman dragons are better suited for certain missions than others, so choose wisely!

Wingman List

From the Hire Wingman menu, simply press to view the list of Wingmen you've hired.

Feed Dragon

Feeding your dragon Food Items teaches it new skills, and provides it with experience.

To feed your dragon, select Feed Dragon, then select the type of Food you want to give your dragon. To view the skill a Food Item provides your dragon, simply select it from the list of available Food Items.

Change Attribute

Select Change Attribute from the Dragon Roost to change your dragon’s type. Certain attributes give your dragon an edge over enemy creatures with opposing attributes, and can make all the difference in a heavy firefight.

Evolve Dragon

From the Evolve Dragon menu you can take your dragon to the next level. Evolving a dragon not only increases its power, but also changes its appearance.

Dragons have three stages of evolution: Unevolved, Elite, and Ultimate. While each dragon type can take any attribute at the Unevolved and Elite stages, a dragon’s Ultimate form is dictated by the attribute type a dragon naturally corresponds with.

To evolve your dragon to the next stage, select Evolve Dragon from the Dragon Roost menu, then select the type of dragon you want to evolve to.

Each tier of evolution requires credits and rare seeds. Acquire seeds by defeating bosses and rare creatures, or purchase them in Item Packs via the Shop!

Missions

From here you can launch directly into Missions with the dragon of your choice!

Dragon Database

Select Dragon Database to learn more about the dragons you've encountered in the wilds of Draco.

Revival Gems

From here you can see how many Revival Gems you have available. Revival Gems allow you to continue gameplay when your dragon's health has been fully depleted. Visit the shop to purchase additional Revival Gems and keep your dragon in the fight.

Ampoules

Use Ampoules to give your dragon a competitive edge. Ampoules increase your dragon’s Life, Attack, Defense, Mind, or Agility stats. Defeat enemies and complete missions to earn additional Ampoules and keep your supply fully stocked.

Food Items

Defeat enemies and complete missions to earn Food Items. Feed your dragon Food Items to increase their experience and teach them new skills.

Attribute Items

Use Attribute Items to change your dragon’s attribute. To change a dragon’s attribute, select Change Attribute in the Dragon’s Roost, then select the type of attribute you’d like to give your dragon.

Antibodies

Unlock antibodies to open new missions by defeating enemies as you play. To view a list of the antibodies you've unlocked, simply select Antibodies from the Inventory menu.

Shop

The Shop is the place to go for goods and information. In the Shop you can purchase Item Packs, Jewels, Revival Gems, and new dragons, or sell items obtained during missions.

Buy Item Packs

Item Packs include a variety of items to outfit you for the wilds of Draco. Choose from the Recruit Pack, Ace Rider Pack, or Golden Dragon Pack to ensure you’re well supplied.

Buy Dragons

To purchase a new dragon, select Buy Dragons from the Shop menu. The type and variety of dragons available in the Shop is based on your level.

Buy Jewels

Purchase Jewels to pick up special items like Revival Gems and Item Packs. Jewels are available in three bundle packages: Seeker Jewel Pack, Veteran Jewel Pack, and Dragon Hunter Jewel Pack. Jewels can also be obtained by successfully completing Missions.

Buy Revival Gems

Use Revival Gems to keep the fight going when your dragon has taken a beating. Purchase additional Revival Gems with Jewels. Revival Gems are available in packs of one, three, or ten per purchase.

Sell Items

Select Sell Items to unload any extra cargo you’ve acquired during missions.

With Kinect voice recognition, you can control Crimson Dragon to access menu screens and command your dragon in combat.

Activate voice commands by raising your hand to your head, and then saying the voice command you want to use.

Voice commands are currently supported in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Brazil.

Multiplayer Mode
Team up with other dragon riders to take on missions in Multiplayer Mode. In multiplayer, you'll encounter exclusive enemies and obtain unique Food Items only available in Multiplayer Mode.

Select Multiplayer from the hub menu to access Multiplayer Mode.
Enemies

While out in the wilds, you'll encounter a wide variety of enemies, ranging from tiny pests to massive brutes. Consult this database of creatures to get yourself prepared for battle before taking the fight to the skies.


Name: Vespin
Attribute: Fire
Type: Dragon
Size: Small
Behavior: Cautious and timid when isolated, the Vespin rely on their hive for strength. Usually found in close proximity to hives, their small size and agility make these creature dangerous when in a swarm.


Name: Raging Vespin
Attribute: Fire
Type: Dragon
Size: Small
Behavior: Unlike their normally timid cousins, the Raging Vespin are both more aggressive and more dangerous. Capable of launching fiery projectiles, the Raging Vespin require a more cautious approach when being engaged.


Name: Vespin Mine
Attribute: Fire
Type: Dragon
Size: Small
Behavior: In the final stages of Crimsonscale infection, Vespin Mines undergo a dramatic change allowing them to detonate themselves in a fiery explosion. While the behavior of Vespin Mines can be somewhat erratic, their aggression and dangerous capabilities are unquestionable.


Name: Ger-Anoth
Attribute: Light
Type: Mineral
Size: Medium
Behavior: The mineral-based Ger-Anoth possess only a rudimentary intelligence, and pose a threat to dragon riders only as obstacles. Be sure to blast them out of your way to avoid their stinging tentacles.


Name: Raging Ger-Anoth
Attribute: Light
Type: Mineral
Size: Medium
Behavior: A Crimsonscale infected variant of the Ger-Anoth, these creatures pose a more significant threat to dragon riders. Capable of lashing out with small, clustered projectiles, the Raging Ger-Anoth can tip the scales in favor of the enemy with a well-timed appearance in battle.


Name: Glyrin
Attribute: Wind
Type: Insect
Size: Large
Behavior: Glyrin are the gentle giants of Draco. While fearsome looking, the spiked protrusions jutting from their carapaces serve mainly as a defensive barrier to keep Vespin at bay. Though attacks by Glyrin are almost unheard of, lately they’ve begun to occur more commonly.


Name: Eel-K
Attribute: Fire or Light
Type: Dragon
Size: Medium
Behavior: At home in both the waters and subterranean lava lakes of Draco, the Eel-K’s constant movement can make them a difficult enemy to target. Keeping a close eye on these creatures is both a good offensive and defensive strategy when engaging. Patterned lights shimmer along the Eel-K’s sides prior to launching an attack, allowing a skilled rider to dodge anything headed their way.


Name: Scraid
Attribute: Light
Type: Dragon
Size: Medium
Behavior: Sharklike and largely amphibious, the Scraid inhabit Draco’s watery regions, from the surface to the subterranean. In the wild, Scraid can be identified by the large fin protruding from their back, giving dragon riders advance notice of their presence. However, knowing Scraid are in the area still isn’t enough to help predict their attacks, which come suddenly and seemingly at random.

Type: Dragon
Size: Medium
Behavior: The massive wingspan and piercing call of the Angler makes it difficult to miss. However, spotting Anglers and defeating Anglers are two very different matters. Their tendency to attack in groups, combined with their sonic attacks and agility, make Anglers an enemy best taken down swiftly. Thankfully, Anglers tend not to be especially aggressive, attacking only when their territory is invaded.

Size: Medium
Behavior: Transformed by Crimsonscale infection, the Raging Angler is nothing like its uninfected counterpart. Highly aggressive and given to preying on anything and everything in sight, the Raging Angler makes a dangerous foe out in the wilds of Draco.


Name: Neonosaur
Attribute: Light
Type: Mineral
Size: Small
Behavior: The vibrant Neonosaur largely inhabits the underground lake regions of Draco, having formed a symbiotic relationship with the other creatures that exist in the depths of the planet. Operating exclusively in groups, the Neonosaur run interference for creatures under threat, swarming together to block inbound attacks. Depending on the mood of its group, Neonosaurs present with one of seven colors, though reports indicate the discovery of previously unseen rainbow-colored Neonosaurs down in the deepest sections of Dracos underground cave network.


Name: Radiax
Attribute: Light
Type: Mineral
Size: Small
Behavior: Still largely a mystery to the scientists of Seeker Command, the Radiax appear to be a form of mineral based life with only a rudimentary collective intelligence. Appearing exclusively in groups, Radiax predominantly act as minor impediments, arriving suddenly on the scene of a fight before vanishing just as mysteriously.

Attribute: Void
Type: Insect
Size: Small
Behavior: With a hard outer shell and the ability to produce a poisonous gas cloud, Mantis are well equipped for life in the caverns and cave networks of Draco. Their strong defenses have allowed the Mantis to forgo developing the quick reflexes frequently encountered in Draco’s wildlife, leaving them to float slowly and ponderously on their search for easy prey.

Type: Insect
Size: Small
Behavior: The Irraform are little more than pests on Draco. While small, their tendency to fly in formation makes them an easy target for experienced dragon riders.


Name: Poppifrax
Attribute: Wind
Type: Insect
Size: Small
Behavior: Large wings make up the majority of the Poppifrax’s small frame, due to its constant hovering behavior. While these creatures may seem aimless in their flight, their bobbing and weaving patterns are intended to confuse both predators and prey, allowing the Poppifrax to lash out with attacks at just the right moment.


Name: Tosca
Attribute: Wind
Type: Insect
Size: Small
Behavior: While the small size of the Tosca gives them a harmless appearance, these tiny insects are anything but. Fast, agile, and armed with a venomous stinger, the Tosca are able to move in swiftly for an attack, and then retreat a safe distance before their victims can react.


Name: Lepis
Attribute: Wind
Type: Insect
Size: Small
Behavior: Unlike anything seen on Earth, the Lepis insects of the forest region were initially thought to be relatively harmless due to their slow movement. However, their combination of extreme aggression and resilience make the Lepis an enemy best brought down fast.


Name: Hestrine
Attribute: Fire or Light
Type: Dragon
Size: Medium
Varieties: Forest Hestrine (Light), Lake Hestrine (Fire)
Behavior: Extremely aggressive, with the speed and power to finish whatever fight they’ve started, Hestrine dragons are a serious threat to dragon riders in the field. While capable of fighting from afar, these creatures will often charge evasive prey, dealing massive amounts of damage with a ramming attack.


Name: Orkinuss
Attribute: Wind
Type: Dragon
Size: Massive
Behavior: The gentle Orkinuss serve a variety of purposes on Draco. To indigenous species, they act as floating islands, their enormous bodies growing thick with vegetation to provide a refuge for symbiotic creatures. To colonists, the Orkinuss are large mobile farms, providing a wealth of mineral resources vital to energy production on Draco. While the Orkinuss themselves are non-violent, the creatures that live on them aren’t as peaceful, aggressively attacking anything that attempts to interfere with their host.


Name: Raybomber
Attribute: Light
Type: Insect
Size: Small
Behavior: Named for their method of attack, Raybombers harass dragon riders with light attacks long enough to get in close and explode in a violent burst. Their hard shells can make launching counterattacks difficult, as their armor is impregnable to even the toughest attacks.


Name: Petradon
Attribute: Wind
Type: Dragon
Size: Large
Behavior: Petradon are a classic example of balanced evolution on Draco. While slow moving, their ability to withstand large amounts of damage coupled with bomb-like attacks which create a thick debris cloud, allow Petradon all the time they need to move in for the kill.


Name: Mawtas
Attribute: Light
Type: Dragon
Size: Medium
Behavior: With a highly agile yet irregular flying style, the Mawtas can be a difficult enemy to face off against. Its tendency to stop suddenly and launch a barrage of attacks before zipping off again makes this creature one best taken down quickly.


Name: Skull Helm
Attribute: Unknown
Type: Dragon
Size: Medium
Behavior: Very little is known about the Skull Helm. While rare, they can occasionally be spotted in the subterranean lava lakes deep beneath Draco’s surface. All attempts to perform recon missions on the Skull Helm have resulted in the disappearance of the team. If spotted, riders are advised to engage these creatures with extreme caution.

Attributes


To ensure their survival out in the wild, members of Icarus division have to plan accordingly for every mission. Anticipating the type of enemy you will face off with, and equipping your dragon with the appropriate elemental attribute, is crucial to survival on a planet where mistakes can be fatal.

When using the appropriate attribute in game, you will deal 25% extra damage. When attacking a creature with the same attribute you have equipped, you will deal normal damage. When using the inappropriate attribute in game, you will suffer a 25% penalty to damage.

The fire attribute defeats wind.

The wind attribute defeats light.

The light attribute defeats fire.

The fourth element, Void, has no attribute, and deals normal damage to all creatures, but never suffers from the 25% penalty to damage.

Game Clips

Xbox One offers the ability to capture your own game footage—both before and after it’s already occurred.

The moment you've taken down a massive dragon, just say Xbox, Record That, and Xbox One will select and save a recording of the last 30 seconds of your gameplay.

Or you can say Xbox Snap Game DVR, which will allow you to manually recording upcoming gameplay or select a recording from past gameplay.

To view your captured Game Clips, go to the My Clips section of the Upload application. You can keep your Game Clips private or share them publicly with your friends. To edit your Game Clips and record voiceover, search Xbox Apps for Upload Studio and follow the on-screen prompts to download and begin editing.
