Zoo Tycoon is a highly collaborative zoo management game with an emphasis on animal adoption and care, building emotional connections with your animals through engaging interactions and highly social play.
In Zoo Tycoon you strive to build a zoo promoting animal care and conservation values. You design your perfect zoo while collaborating with up to 4 people in real time over LIVE and place Natural Exhibits, attractions and animals.
The most important element of running a zoo is to care for your animals. Manage your zoo to ensure your animals are happy and cared for in their Natural Exhibits by creating the correct environments for them, personalizing their Natural Exhibits with toys and interacting with them directly. Conservation is essential, you’ll have to carefully breed and look after your animals to help nurture them ready for release back into the wild. A good zoo with happy animals will be more successful. Guests are only as happy as your animals!
You will start with a modest zoo with a single natural exhibit and a single animal. As you progress through the game more Natural Exhibits are unlocked and can be purchased along with new toys and concessions to populate your zoo. This allows you to adopt or breed more animals to care for, before releasing these animals to the wild to complete conservation challenges. Challenges will help you make decisions as you endeavor to become the ultimate zoo keeper and manage the perfect zoo.

Learn how to become a Zoo Tycoon by playing through the Tutorial Mode scenarios. Starting with the basics, these simple scenarios will take you step-by-step through the world of zoo construction and management, so that you can build the ultimate zoo!
Challenge Mode allows you and up to three online friends to create zoos together. Starting with limited funds, build your zoo your way and overcome the various challenges of zoo management. This is where you prove your zoo-keeping skills. Go wild!
Money is no object in Freeform Mode, allowing you and up to three online friends to create a zoo together without limits. All animals and zoo attractions are available and will be unlocked once your zoo reaches certain zoo Fame levels.
Campaign Mode is where real Zoo Keepers prove themselves. Play through 20 scenario-based zoos in 6 categories to become the ultimate Zoo Tycoon with up to three online friends. Completing each scenario will reward you with a unique item to use in your Challenge and Freeform zoo, so that everyone can see your achievements.
