Playing Just Sing with Smartphones

After the title screen, the basic controls for Just Sing can all be performed via a connected smart device. On screens where smart devices can't be used, you'll need the Xbox One Controller.

Connecting a Smartphone

Connect a smartphone or other supported mobile device to get the full Just Sing experience. The first step is to download the companion app to your mobile device.

Navigate to the Home menu
Select "Connect Your Device"
Scan the QR code to access the Just Sing Companion app download page for your mobile device

Connect your smart device and console to the same network and launch the Just Sing Companion app. The app will show the list of consoles found. Tap to select your console and connect to it. Once the companion app successfully connects to your console, you can use your smart device as the microphone and camera in Just Sing.

For the best experience when using your companion device as both the camera and microphone, make sure you hold it so your face is fully in frame!

USB Microphones

Wired USB microphones can be connected and used with your console. When a USB microphone is plugged into your console, it will be recognized automatically.

Kinect

Connect a Kinect to record your performance automatically while you're singing! Use it with your companion device to create multi-camera videos automatically too!

Themes give you a quick and easy way to spruce up your videos! Just select one in the Backstage and the effects / filters will be applied to your video. Effects and filters toggle automatically in sync with the music. It's never been easier to create cool and awesome videos!

With the companion app, you can toggle between filters and effects anytime you want. Toggle in time with the lyrics, when scenes change, or whenever you feel like it! Have fun and create your very own video!

Earn Stars by singing, and collect Ubisoft Club Units to unlock new Themes and more!

Party mode allows 1-4 players to sing and create a performance video together. Each player can control their own filters and effects. Share the completed video privately with friends and followers or the entire Just Sing community!

Party mode is also where you can earn Stars that will unlock more themes and other rewards!

Compete with another player in a Battle to see who's the better singer!

Depending on how well you sing, the gauges on the left and right will fill up. Players who fill a gauge first earn a medal and the player with the most medals at the end of the song is the winner.

Battles are also recorded and can be shared with friends too!

Browse videos created by other players and your friends in the Watch menu.

The Me menu is where you can check your Star Road progress, your friends' activity feeds, your own videos, and more!

You can manage your Friends List and Following List here too.

Expand your song catalog by unlocking new Song Packs from the Just Sing Shop. Purchase tickets from the Xbox Store to unlock Song Packs in the Shop. Songs unlocked through the Just Sing Shop can only be used when you are online.

Find all your songs in the My Songs category.

Log into the UBISOFT CLUB and get access to lots of exclusive Ubisoft game content. Of course there's exclusive content for Just Sing as well!

How to create an Ubisoft account

If you do not already have a UBISOFT CLUB account, you will be prompted to create one. To do this, you will need to provide an e-mail address and a preferred username. We may also use information from your Xbox Live profile for this purpose.

Linking an Account

If you already have a UBISOFT CLUB account, you will be prompted to log in. Your e-mail address and UBISOFT CLUB password will be required for this.

You can go to the UBISOFT CLUB website "https://club.ubi.com" at any time to manage your account.
